The SAMGAS – GPRS smart module (hereinafter referred to as the GPRS module) is designed to operate as part of automatic system of commercial energy metering (AMR) and telemetry. The GPRS module reads signals from a built-in or external pulse sensor, collects, processes, stores and transmits data to the AMR Data Center. The smart communication module (Data transfer to data center) uses the common GSM-900/1800 cellular network.
Key Benefits
- records energy consumption (gas, water, etc.) in operating conditions according to the read and / or received data of the energy metering device
- collects and saves credentials: hourly energy consumption log - 72 hours, daily energy consumption log - 128 days
- Defines, fixes, accumulates and stores the time of occurrence and type of events and emergencies - at least 128 records
- data transmission technology - GSM / GPRS-900/1800 cellular communication for general use
- functioning and support of any existing mobile operator
- built-in or external antenna
- single battery life - up to 8 years
- noise-protected built-in pulse sensor
- detection of unauthorized interference
- quick and easy installation (installation)
- possibility of use with any energy meters (gas, water, etc.) which imply the installation of a pulse sensor or having a pulse output.
The GPRS module complies with the requirements of the Technical Regulations for Radio Equipment (Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 355 dated 05/24/2017), DSTU EN 60950-1: 2015, DSTU EN 62311: 2014, DSTU EN 50385: 2007, DSTU EN 301 489-1 : 2014, DSTU ETSI EN 301489-7: 2008, DSTU ETSI EN 301 511: 2016. Smart module operation mode is long and continuous. The GPRS module is manufactured with a built-in or external antenna.
The Smart module is powered by a built-in lithium battery, which ensures continuous operation of the module for at least 8 years, if the operating conditions set out in the passport and operating manual are observed.
Notation | Type of device |
SAMGAS-GPRS - 00 | Built-in impulse sensor (noise protected) |
SAMGAS-GPRS – 01 | Built-in “dry contact” impulse sensor |
SAMGAS-GPRS – 02 | External pulse sensor SAMGAS-2008 |
SAMGAS-GPRS – 03 | External pulse sensor SAMGAS-2002 |
SAMGAS-GPRS – 04 | External pulse sensor ELSTER INZ-61 |
The GPRS module with an integrated pulse sensor is installed on the SAMGAS gas meter model RS / 2001-2 (P), RS / 2001-21 (P), RS / 2001-22 (P), RS / 2.4 (P), RS / 2.4- 1 (P), RS / 2.4-2 (P) in a special seat in the body of the counting mechanism (adder). A smart module with an external pulse sensor, depending on the performance of the external sensor, is connected to the corresponding energy meter (gas, water, etc.). The GPRS module receives signals from a pulse sensor, accumulates and stores data on the volume of consumed gas and transmits them directly to the data center of AMR. The initiator of radio communication with the Data center of AMR is the Smart module itself.
The manufacturer guarantees that the quality of the GPRS module complies with the requirements of the Technical Regulations for Radio Equipment (Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 355 of 24/05/2017), DSTU ETSI EN 300220-2: 2017, DSTU EN 60950-1: 2015, DSTU EN 62311: 2014, DSTU IEC 61000-4-2: 2008; DSTU EN 55032: 2017, DSTU EN 301 489-1: 2014, DSTU ETSI EN 301 489-3: 2009 in compliance with the consumer's rules of storage, transportation, installation and operation, as specified in the passport and operating instructions for the module.
The warranty period of storage of the Smart module is maximum 12 months from the date of its production with the power off.
The warranty period of operation of the GPRS module is 2 years from the date of its production.
